The Friends of the Wray Public Library
is a nonprofit organization established in 1999 to provide our local
public library with books and program materials. In 2008 the Friends
were instrumental in raising funds by hosting their annual book/yard
sale and their face painting booth on fun night. They also collected
Wray Supers receipts. With the funds they have purchased a variety
of children's materials for the library and the reading incentive
prizes for the 2008 summer reading program. They also supply the
Story time program with treats. The Friends invite anyone interested
in making a difference to your library to become a member in 2009.
Memorials
The Friend of the Library accepts memorial gifts. Donors may specify
how each donation is to be used. These gifts are identified with
bookplates. This is a lasting memorial, which enhances the gift's
value to the community.
2010 Meetings:
All meetings are held at the Wray Public Library and begin at 7:00 pm.
